Chapter 3 -" Fast times at No Where High" school days. ( part 1 )

High school usually starts out the same for everyone. You have to get your class schedule, find your stupid locker, fight with the combination, find your classes and get introduced to the smoking grounds. Okay maybe that was just my experience. Most people are excited when they start High School, yet I was really not feeling any sense of euphoria about it. To tell you the truth, I down right dreaded it to no end. It was like being at the bottom of the food chain again. The only saving grace was that I was taller than everyone remembered, and my voice had finally stopped cracking and squeaking. 10th grade seemed to hold some promise of a new beginning , something that I really needed at this point in my life.
The High School girls had better looking figures now, compared to their Junior High counter parts. Breast's larger and fuller, with eyes that seemed to long for that first chance to see that swell of a young man's member ( of which most of us got when they barely breathed in our direction.) They began to wear more make-up and perfume, basically giving us boys not a chance of hell for recovery.
As I walked through the school day, collecting my schedule and doing that treasure hunt for a rusty school locker; all I could think about was getting home that day to hit my bong and try to achieve unconsciousness.
Kids were gathered into their little "clicky" groups; jocks with cheerleaders, nerds with the girls in AV class (that were enrolled in theatre also), stoner's and the lot. I really never did fit with one particular group, I mean I was a stoner who was a nerd who really liked sports. So I soon called myself a "floater", because I could pretty much fit in were I wanted to whatever the situation demanded. Like most kids I just wanted to feel like I belonged to something.
By the end of the first day I had met up with some old friends, made some new friends and managed to make some new enemies. Lucky fucking me.
When I got home, my mother was working in her upholstery shop; her shop was in our newly renovated garage; and when I came in, she could tell by the look on my face that my day had not gone well. She still asked how my day was and I sighed that it was fine. After some small talk, I retired to my room to my favorite friend in the world, my bamboo bong.
Most of that first semester was a blur of tests, skipping classes and meeting people that felt the way  that I did; disenchanted. By mid year I learned the fine art of cutting class, yet still maintaining an above 3.0 grade average. I had dated several girls through out the course of school year, yet none of them earned the title of 'Girl friend'. I was really never attracted to girls my age, I always seemed to gravitate to the ones older than myself; due to the fact that the ones my age pretty much lacked the intelligence to carry on a constructive conversation. Nor were they able to talk about anything past ' what was at the mall',' the latest girl who was the weekly slut', etc. or anything else that I would be remotely interested in. Yet I would continue to try to find one in my age bracket to a least try to relate to.
The rest of the year was pretty mundane,  filled with the boring lesson's in class  and neglected feelings in the halls. I would get high with my friends before, during and after school. School bored me to death, so I usually wouldn't stick around most days.
In my Junior year i had become friends with a kid named Brian, who lived right behind the high school, and who's parents worked out of town. Incidentally they also had a fully stocked bar and swimming pool. Made going back to  school really, really hard.

Happy New Years Everyone!!! I am back to writing again and will soon post yet another chapter of "My Pathetic Life"  Thanks for hanging in there!!!
